Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions in the School of Film & Television at Falmouth University

Teaching primarily on our undergraduate courses in BA Film and on the newly established BA Television, you will possess an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area. You will be working with large and diverse cohorts and assisting in the pastoral care of first year undergraduates. Research interests in film history and philosophy, and the production culture and industry contexts of film and television is essential, and an interest in television criticism and analysis would be an advantage. The recent completion or near completion of a PhD is desirable.

Teaching on our undergraduate courses in BA Television and BA Film and contributing to our post graduate programme, you will possess an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area. You will have experience working in an above-the-line position in television drama, and the ability and enthusiasm to connect this with theoretical approaches to the medium across a range of levels. Experience of teaching in a HE environment at an undergraduate level is essential, where you will be working with large and diverse cohorts and have some responsibility for the pastoral care of first year undergraduates. An interest in developing the School’s links with industry is desirable, as is experience of film drama and the recent completion or near completion of a PhD.
