Snapshots

Unique perspectives on education reform in transitioning countries.

Snapshots articles aim to raise awareness of the key issues in education reform to present strategies for addressing these problems. Authors have examined social exclusion, accountability, anti-corruption, transparency and responsibility in both the public and private spheres.

Now in its second year, Snapshots has begun revisiting each country, evaluating the extent of progress made since the original round of articles. The focus remains on open society values as applied to education.

Snapshots is funded by the Open Society Institute's Education Support Program.
