Leadership for Learning: the Cambridge Network is pleased to announce the launch of the LfL Teacher Leadership book series

The Cambridge Network is pleased to announce the launch of Leadership for Learning (LfL)Teacher Leadership book series. The aim of this series is to show case the work of teachers all over the world who take up the challenge to lead change.

The first title in this series has just been published: Transforming education through teacher leadership in this series. The book illuminates and exemplifies teacher leadership through authentic narratives. The authors include teachers themselves and those who facilitate and support them. Collectively these accounts explicate a theory of non-positional teacher leadership and its role in educational transformation. The theory is embedded in the narratives and key insights are highlighted in the editorial commentary that runs throughout.

The book is edited by David Frost. David Frost is a member of the Leadership for Learning group at the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education. His research focuses on teacher leadership and the development of strategies to support teachers as agents of change.

The title is available to purchase at www.educ.cam.ac.uk/centres/lfl  or http://onlinesales.admin.cam.ac.uk/browse/extra_info.asp?compid=1&modid=1&catid=287&prodid=1709
